Hi. I’m Anna Lawyer and I am a Sprite addict. (A.N. Haha Nikki and Oddrey!) No, really! My friends say that’s my worst joke. I promise, though, I really am. I drink it with like, every meal. But, ok, that’s beside the point. Ok, so while I’m still stuck on myself, I’m 12 and I live in Arkansas aka. Hicktown, USA. Um, well, I go to school and like, I guess I’m kinda normal. That’s what most people tell me.
Ring ring! Crap, there goes the phone. I better answer since it’s probably for me anyway. It was Adriann Holly, my best friend.
Adriann’s been my best friend ever since we moved to Arkansas. I met her when I was eight and we’ve been friends since. She’s one of my non-Hanson fan friends, which kinda puts her higher on my list. She had short red hair that reaches to her shoulders and beautiful blue eyes. She only lives a few blocks from me.
Also in my little circle of friends are Lucile Butler, Elizabeth Williams, and Marie Rosewood.
Lucile is my other best friend. She and Adriann and I met on the first day of third grade and have been friends since. She only lives a few streets over, next door to Elizabeth. She looks kind of like me, with pretty long brown hair and blue eyes.
Elizabeth is one of my obsessed Hanson fan friends. I don’t like her quite as much as Lucile and Adriann. Now don’t get me wrong, she’s great, I just don’t like obsessed Hanson fans. She’s got shoulder-length blond hair and freaky eyes that change colors depending on what she wears.
Last is Marie. She is the other Hanson-crazed fan so she kind of goes into the same category as Elizabeth. She lives the furthest from me, five whole streets over. She has jet-black hair and black eyes. We must look funny, the five of us, walking around. Two Hanson freaks, one with blond hair and freaky eyes, one with black hair and black eyes, and me and Adriann and Lucile with brown and red hair and blue eyes. We must be a funny looking group.
“Hey,” said Adriann. “Me, Lucile, Elizabeth & Marie
are going to the mall. Wanna come?”
”Sure, lemme ask.” I put my hand over the mouthpiece. “MOM!” I shouted. “Can I
go to the mall with some people?”
“Sure!” she called back. “Do you guys need a ride?”
“Nope, Adriann’s mom is taking us.”
“ ‘Kay, be home by dinner time!”
“Sure,” I called and returned to my conversation with Adriann.
“Nice conversation with your mom you had there,” she said sarcastically.
“Oh, thanks. Anytime,” I said. She snickered. “We’ll pick you up in 10 minutes.”
“K, bye.”
I ran to my room to get ready.
